Gurugram, India, 15th November, 2025: Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School came alive with stories of courage, reflection, and transformation as it hosted TEDx Lotus Petal 2025 under the evocative theme “The Road Not Taken.” The independently organized event brought together over 100 students, educators, and changemakers, transforming the campus into a vibrant space for ideas, hope, and self-discovery.

The student-led initiative embodied the spirit of choice and curiosity celebrating those who dared to take the unconventional path. From stage design to production, students led every element, creating an immersive experience where every story became a quiet revolution.

Thirteen inspiring speakers shared personal journeys that resonated deeply with the audience. Dr. Manmit Kumarr spoke of overcoming fear to become a global speaker and healer, reminding everyone to “just show up and take the next step.” Lieutenant Tanuja Sodhi, among India’s first women Naval officers and an Ironman triathlete, traced her transformation from trauma to triumph through resilience and discipline. Dr. Aman Mittal from LPU explored how adapting to change and pacing oneself sustains growth and well-being, while speakers like Pooja Udayan, Aarushi Gambhir, and Ghan Shyam shared powerful stories of empowerment, inclusion, and reinvention.

The stage itself mirrored the theme with glowing, intersecting paths of light converging at a single center, symbolizing how every decision shapes destiny. Attendees were invited to pen their reflections on “Path Cards”, recounting moments when they, too, chose a road less traveled.

“Every story today was a quiet revolution, a reminder that courage isn’t about taking the loudest road, but the truest one,” said Shobhna Chauhan, Event Organizer and Academician, Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School.

Working across Education, Nutrition, and Livelihood, the Foundation nurtures holistic growth and lifelong opportunity. TEDx Lotus Petal 2025 stood as a reflection of that mission proving that every great journey begins when we dare to step into the unfamiliar.
